Side Stones Engagement Rings

What is the difference between a side-stone ring and a three-stone ring?

Side-stone rings typically feature a series of smaller diamonds set into the band to accent the center stone, whereas a three-stone ring uses two larger, prominent diamonds to flank the center. You can view both styles in person at our Newton showroom to see which level of sparkle you prefer.

Can I choose the specific type of side stones for my setting?

Yes. While many of our settings come with round brilliant accents, our Newton workshop can often customize pieces with different stone shapes or even colorful gemstones like sapphires or emeralds to create a look that is unique to you.

Are the side-stone diamonds GIA certified as well?

We ensure that all accent stones used in our rings meet high-quality standards for color and clarity to match your center diamond. For the larger center stones, we provide GIA certification to guarantee the value and quality of your primary investment.

How do you ensure the side stones won't fall out over time?

Every ring from our Newton Centre studio is handcrafted with precision. We use secure setting techniques, such as shared prongs or channel settings, and recommend bringing your ring back to our local shop once a year for a complimentary cleaning and prong inspection.
