Eternity Rings

What is the difference between a full eternity ring and a half eternity ring?

A full eternity ring features diamonds that go all the way around the band, symbolizing never-ending love. A half eternity ring has stones across the top half only, which can be more comfortable for daily wear and allows for easier resizing at our Newton workshop. You can try on both styles at our studio to see which fits your lifestyle best.

Can eternity rings be resized if my finger size changes?

Full eternity rings are difficult to resize because the stones cover the entire circumference. For our local Newton clients, we recommend getting a professional sizing at our showroom before ordering. If you anticipate needing a size change in the future, we often suggest a "three-quarter" or "half" eternity style which our Newton Centre jewelers can adjust more easily.

Can I use different gemstones, like sapphires, in my eternity band?

Absolutely. While diamonds are the most traditional choice, we specialize in custom eternity bands using sapphires, rubies, or emeralds. Many of our clients in the Greater Boston area choose to alternate diamonds with birthstones to add a personal touch to their anniversary or wedding stack.

How do I choose an eternity ring that sits flush with my engagement ring?

Achieving a "seamless" look depends on the height of the setting. When you visit us in Newton Centre, we can compare your current engagement ring with different eternity band profiles—such as shared prong, channel, or pavé settings—to ensure they sit comfortably together without a gap.
