Curved Wedding Rings

What is a curved wedding ring and why do I need one?

A curved or contoured wedding ring is designed with a specific arc to bypass the center stone or setting of your engagement ring. This allows the two rings to sit flush against each other without a gap. You can bring your engagement ring to our Newton showroom to test which curvature matches your setting most comfortably.

Can you custom-curve a band to fit my unique engagement ring?

Yes. If a standard curved band doesn't align perfectly with your ring, our Newton workshop can create a custom "shadow band." We use precise measurements of your engagement ring to ensure the new wedding band follows every contour seamlessly for a unified look.

Do curved wedding rings work with solitaire settings?

While solitaires often allow straight bands to sit flush, many modern low-profile solitaires benefit from a slight curve to avoid hitting the prongs. We invite you to visit us in Newton Centre to try on different styles and determine if a curved or straight band better complements your solitaire.

Are curved bands available with diamonds or just plain metal?

We offer both. You can choose a high-polish plain gold or platinum curved band for a minimalist look, or a diamond-set contoured band for added brilliance. At our Newton studio, we can even customize the diamond size and setting style to match the accent stones in your engagement ring.
